Last week Need For Speed The Run released worldwide and it’s believed to be the best racing game ever.

I’ve been playing it for sometime now and it’s simply mind-blowing. We have to play as Jack who races 3000 miles across US from San Francisco to New York and is running for his life to clear his debts.

Those of you who are getting the error Need For Speed The Run Has Stopped Working  while trying to start the game need not to worry if you have the minimum hardware required for playing the game.

The error is persistent mainly in PCs with ATI GPU caused by atidxx32.dll file due to the incompatibility with DirectX 11.

Here’s the solution :-
Go to the following link and update your graphics drivers, it’s about 140MB file but before that uninstall all your
ATI softwares and drivers and delete the registry entries and restart your PC. Here’s the link http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst1110Previewdriver.aspx
After installing the software restart your PC and start the game and it will work perfectly.
The new drivers will also reduce the lag while playing the game.

*Those of you who are having NVIDIA GPU need to upgrade your drivers from the NVIDIA support site.
